Pertinant Information: Yorda does not seem to speak English, or any known language for that matter. After careful inquiry we have gotten her name and she has learned the word 'bird'. Large, somewhat pointed ears and ethereal glow suggest that Yorda is not human. Will be treated as a special needs student. Attempt to set her up with a host/foster family has proven successful, although she does not seem clear on what is going on.
Edit: Has a tendency to mimic birds, going so far as to mimic their eating habits, although it seems she requires no actual sustainance and has, according to her host family, gone for days without need for either food or water.
Edit: Yorda appears to enjoy drawing with crayon and finger paints. She has been provided an electronic journal and access to scanners through which she may eventually learn to communicate with her classmates via immersion and sharing her pictures.
